Tamarisk removal project organized by Roaring Fork Outdoor Volunteers. Volunteers will remove these non-native and invasive plants from the banks of the Colorado River on the town of Silt’s island in the Colorado River. This is the largest remaining patch between Rifle and Glenwood Springs. Volunteers should wear work clothes while the organizers will provide all tools and direction necessary.
