Aspen High Country Triathlon presented by Aspen Parks and Recreation
Department. Multi-sport event consists of an 800-yard indoor pool swim,
17-mile bike (gaining 1,500 feet in elevation), and a 4-mile run. Event

11th annual Basalt River Days Festival. Event features live music by
Big Daddy Lee & The Kingbees and Wendy Woo and The Woo! Band, food,
arts and crafts, contests, bike decorating, parade, softball
tournament, children’s events, Camp Chip-A-Tooth Choir, Kids’ Island,
Kiss the Trout, tug-of-war, dunk-tank, pie-baking contest, pancake

Annual Book Sale presented by Basalt Regional Library. Hard-back books
and other media are $1 and paper-back books are only 50 cents. All

Frontier Historical Museum. Boyle discusses the facts surrounding the
best known and often debated gun battle in western United States

Aspen Community Social Dance. Swing, salsa, foxtrot, waltz and more
