Saturday run group hosted by Independence Run and Hike. Run every
Saturday at 7:30 a.m. starting from Independence Run and Hike and one
other location in Carbondale. Run goes on in rain, snow, cold or
sunshine. Each week an e-mail with the proposed route will be sent out.

Aspen Saturday Market. Market sells fresh fruit, produce, arts and
crafts, includes live music and more. Saturday mornings on Hopkins
Avenue in Aspen. Runs through Oct. 18.

“Playing with the Past” children’s programs presented by Aspen
Historical Society. Featured activity is ice cream making. For kids

36th annual Carbondale Mountain Fair presented by Carbondale Council on
Arts and Humanities. Fair offers arts and crafts, demonstrations,
children's activities, international food and music. Admission is free.
