Carbondale Council on Arts and Humanities is looking for artists for its November gallery show to honor Dia de los Muertos, or The Day of the Dead. Artists are invited to provide imaginative renditions of altar shrines, which should reflect their sentiments about the festival and tradition. Aspen Community Theatre is looking for volunteers to join the backstage crew for the upcoming musical “Chicago.” Positions are available for assistant stage managers, the deck crew, the fly rail, sound, and lights. This will involve evening and weekend work through Nov. 16. 379-8881.

“Temple of the Warriors” presented by Colorado Mountain College Gallery.
