"The Band's Visit" presented by Wheeler Film Society. Told as a fable,
the story follows the members of an Egyptian police band, which has
been booked for a gig at an Arab Cultural center in Israel. After
taking the wrong bus, the band winds up in the middle of a desert town
called Bet Hatikva. Fortunately, the cafe in front of the band is run
by Dina, a life-loving woman with a heart as large as her wry smile.

recreational activities we enjoy. Coffee, tea and dessert potluck will
