As some of you have heard by now, this past Tuesday the Aspen Club received conceptual P&Z approval for our Aspen Club Living project by a 4-1 vote.
This is a great first step in making Aspen Club Living a reality. The approval is really a tribute to the hard work of the Aspen Community Development department, the P&Z members themselves, the fantastic team we have here at the Club and all of the support we received from the Aspen community through this process.
The outpouring of support we saw from throughout our community as we went through the (approval) process is both humbling and inspiring. The approval process in Aspen is a long and oftentimes painful journey. Our next step will be to go before City Council for conceptual approval towards the end of the summer then back to P&Z and then City Council again for final approval. Our team’s goal throughout is to make sure we enjoy the voyage, and continue to do what has made us successful — providing a great customer experience to you and being an engaged part of our community.
We are focusing on not worrying about the final goal, but rather to continue to enjoy what we do each day, continue to be successful as individuals and as a team, to keep getting better as a business, and, most important, to have a lot of fun along the way. If any group of people can do all of these things, it is the Aspen Club team.
Thank you again for your support through this process. It means a lot to us. It is an honor to be part of this great community. We are excited about the future of the club. We hope you are as well.
