In response to Richard Cohen’s column on John McCain’s foreign policy, be careful what you wish for.
America’s “knee jerk” reaction to President Ford’s pardoning President Nixon was four years of misery under President Carter. Remember, the Carter misery index was in the 20 percent range with home loans at 12-14 percent. If we do not make the proper decisions in November, history just might repeat itself.
