Bryce Gordon, 17, of Snowmass Village, finished first in the Junior
Expert category last Saturday at the Mountain States Cup mountain bike
race held on Snowmass Mountain. In a field of 18 riders, Gordon
finished over three minutes ahead of second place finisher Adam Parke,
and over four minutes ahead of third place finisher Will Curry. Gordon,
who is officially sponsored by Honey Stringer/Ellsworth, will be a
senior at Aspen High School this fall and competes regularly at both
regional and national mountain biking races.
