Role Models: Any Southern gentleman. They taught me to respect my elders, say sir and ma'am, open doors for ladies, mean what you say, stand for what you believe, do unto others, carry your own weight and smile while you're doing it. Slow down - what's your hurry?
Motto: Don't worry about your life, what you will eat or drink or what you will wear. Who can add a single hour to his life by worrying?
First Job: At age 14 loading the Snapper riding mower in the '69 VW bus andmowing lawns.
Career Highlight: This is it. What an exciting opportunity to open the first new hotel in Aspen in many years and on top of that to carry on the Paas family tradition of hospitality that's been cultivated for 50 years. I am lucky to be a part of this special blend of modern comfort and family tradition.
Biggest Challenge in Your Line of Business: To continue to emphasize the culture of a small family owned lodge even while being one of the most modern and stylish hotels in town.
