The Yoga Sampler

Overwhelmed by all the yoga options in the valley? Don’t know the differency between Bikram, Iyengar, Kundalini, Vinyasa or Synergy? Then the Aspen Yoga Sampler is for you.

Hosted by the Aspen Yoga Society, the Yoga Sampler features some of the best valley yoga teachers showcasing the style of yoga that is nearest and dearest to their heart.

The Aspen Yoga Society was formed to honor The Aspen Idea, nursing Mind, Body and Spirit and also to bring the yoga community together.

On Saturday, March 3, learn about Iyengar Yoga from Trishka Lemos, Bikram and Synergy from Amamda Dykann, Kundalini from Himat and Viniyoga from Evan Rachel Soroka. Then on Saturday, March 10, Courtney Smith will teach Ashtanga Yoga, Sharon Caplan will teach Vinyasa Yoga, Meggan Bly Humphrey will teach Anusara, and River Morgan will showcase restorative Yin Yoga.

Each session takes place at the Aspen Club and Spa from 4:30-6:30 p.m. And each session is donation-based. For more info, visit www.aspenyogasociety.org [1].


Buttermilk Uphill

The annual Chris Bove Memorial Uphill Challenge and Brunch is set for Saturday, March 3. Racers and hikers of all ages on skis, snowshoes, stabilizers, or other uphilling gear are invited to participate in this annual, family-friendly uphill race and walk-up-a-thon to benefit Challenge Aspen’s local scholarship program and the Children’s Immunodeficiency Program of Denver.
