The Aspen Democracy Initiative (ADI) invites the public to attend a “meet the candidates for county commissioner” event, which will take place Tuesday, June 5 at BB’s Kitchen from 5:30-7:30 p.m. 

All four of the candidates will be in attendance to meet their constituents, answer questions and to give short remarks about their positions on such issues as the airport master plan, land use in Pitkin County, tourism and economic issues. This is a great way for members of our community to participate in their democracy and get informed before they cast their ballots later this month. ADI especially encourages younger voters to attend and be part of the decisions that will impact their futures.

The event is free and BB’s is generously offering happy hour specials.
