City giving away free sunscreen

The city of Aspen environmental health department is giving away free non-toxic sunscreen to the public for the month of June as long as supplies last. Melanoma (the most serious form of skin cancer) is a public health concern for the Aspen community as rates here are slightly higher than the state average. Stop by the environmental health department on the second floor of City Hall for a free sample of a Broad Spectrum sunscreen for protection against UV exposure.
