Police Blotter: Fake names and no helmets

The following activity was recorded with the Aspen Police Department between May 31 and June 7. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty.

• May 28 — At 11 p.m., Aspen police responded to a disturbance in Le Creperie. Miguel Teno-Caro was issued a municipal court summons for trespassing. Upon further investigation, it was realized that Teno-Caro has used a false name to officers. On June 6 at about 1 p.m., Teno-Caro was arrested and transported to Pitkin County Jail where he was charged with criminal impersonation as well as trespassing. Teno-Caro was also held on two failure to appear warrants from Pitkin County.

• June 6 — At 11:11 p.m., Aspen police arrested George Placeres, 35, of Aspen after being called to Aspen Valley Hospital for a disturbance. Placeres was transported to Pitkin County Jail where he was charged with violation of a protection order and violation of bond condition (no alcohol).  

• June 6 — At 11:07 a.m., Aspen police responded to a report of a possible trespassing at a local residence. After investigation, Donovan Senger, 58, of the Aspen area was arrested and issued a municipal court summons for trespassing, prohibited.

• June 6 —  Aspen police issued municipal court summons to two juveniles for helmets required at the Rio Grande Skate Park. The summons carries a fine of $35 for a first offense, $70 for the second.
