The following activity was recorded with the Aspen Police Department between July 19 and July 26. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty.
• July 18 — At 6:24 p.m., Aspen police responded to a report of an assault in the core area. Micheal Carlson and Blake Johnson, both 21, of Snowmass Village were arrested and transported to Pitkin County Jail. Carlson was charged with 3rd degree assault and Johnson was charged with 3rd degree assault plus conspiracy.
• July 21 — At 10:58 p.m., Aspen police responded to a report of a disturbance at Belly Up. Braden Neff, 23, of Denver was arrested and transported to Pitkin County Jail. He was issued a municipal court summons for disorderly conduct.
• July 22 — At 1:04 a.m., Aspen police stopped Kolby Gimmeson, 20, of Grand Junction for a traffic violation. Gimmeson was placed under arrest and transported to Pitkin County Jail where he was charged with driving with a license under restraint because of DUI, expired license plates and failure to obey a traffic control device.
• July 25 — At 10:25 a.m., Aspen police responded to a report of a trespass at The Thrift Shop. Rani Grewal, 49, of the Aspen area was arrested and transported to Pitkin County Jail. She was charged with Trespassing.
