Having read the article about the marathon being reconsidered because of bear feeding, I think it should be a no-brainer. We live in the bears’ neighborhood. Not the other way around. There should be no other thought than to move the race to another location. The Aspen Skiing Co. and the Forest Service should be able to offer some viable options. The bears have enough of a task with the coming of winter to fatten up for survival through hibernation. Take your feet some place else.
