Basalt Recreation would like to thank all the local nonprofit youth groups that assisted with our annual Halloween Carnival. Thanks to the boys and parents of the Boy Scout Troop 242 for their ambitious work to bring such great booths to the carnival. Thank you to Sarah Lovatt and Kerry Wirth for organizing the parents and boys. Thank you to Brad Elliott for his expertise for the haunted house. Thank you to Basalt PIE, BMS Boston Trip, and Blue Lake Preschool for providing fun activities for the party-goers. Thank you to Chris Woods from Crown Mountain Park and Rec for providing the food booth. A special thanks to Pam Schilling for her yearly service at the front desk. Finally, thank you to all the little ghosts and goblins who dressed up to attend the carnival so these youth groups had a successful evening.
