The Carbondale Police Department is looking for information regarding the possible luring of a child Wednesday afternoon. Carbondale police stress that they are only seeking information from the public to determine if there was an incident. There was no police report filed or evidence at this time that would confirm the incident took place.

The alleged incident occurred in the area of Highway 133 and Sopris Avenue on Wednesday. Police do not have any information on the victim, suspect or possible vehicle used.

Police are seeking information on the alleged victim and a description of a suspect and/or suspect’s vehicle.
