Dear President Obama: You are looking for unique ideas to solve the “fiscal cliff.” You and the Democrats prepare your plan for taxes and spending cuts. The Republicans the same. The two plans are then submitted for binding arbitration to the U.S. Supreme Court. Since the court seems to have five Republican and four Democrat members, you would be the 10th member of the arbitration panel.
If the arbitration is deadlocked, then we will go over the fiscal cliff as punishment by the members of Congress. The voters won’t forget this.
Go in peace.
