New Year’s Eve is a time to toast the year gone by and celebrate the year to come. In Aspen, it’s a time for tourists and locals alike to get a bit rowdy. It’s an evening when venues around town - restaurants, night clubs and even our favorite live music venue, Belly Up - loosen up and welcome revelers from around the world for an evening of fun, food and plenty of drinks. Below you’ll find a selection of some of the best - and pricier - dinner deals and all-you-can-drink specials to be had as you officially close out 2012.

Above the Salt
First seating at 6 p.m., includes four courses for $75; second seating includes five courses with a champagne toast for $115.

Ajax Tavern
Three-course prix fixe for $68, children $25. 6-10 p.m.

Asie
Four course $75, 7p.m. A la carte menu also available.

BB’s Kitchen
A la carte menu featuring special holiday dishes. The lounge will  have a $175 cover charge offering DJ music, open bar and heaters on the deck from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Great deck to watch the fireworks

Brexi
First seating 6-8 p.m. or 6:30-8:30 p.m. includes four courses for $100. Late seating at 8:15 p.m. or 8:45 p.m. includes five courses for $200.

Campo de Fiori
First seating from 6-6:30 p.m. for $80.  Second seating from 9-9:30 p.m. for $225.

Casa Tua  
A la carte menu at 6 or 6:30 p.m.  The second seating at 8:30 or 9 p.m. and includes five courses and premium champagne for $600.

Chef’s Club at the 
St. Regis Aspen
Five-course dinner for $395. A five-course dinner paired with wine is $600.

Elevation
Four-course early seating for $80, and six-course late seating for $180.

Ellina
Two seatings, both a la carte at 5:30 and 8:30 p.m.

Gisella
Early seating 6-6:30 p.m. includes four courses for $75; late seating 9-9:30 p.m. includes five courses for $185 with a DJ after dinner.

Prospect Restaurant

Early seating starts at 6 p.m. or 6:30 p.m. and includes three courses for $85. Late seating begins at 9 p.m. or 9:30 p.m., and includes four courses with dancing and live music (Big Daddy Lee & the KingBees)  for $275

Justice Snow’s
6:30 p.m. three-course dinner for $100. 8:30 p.m. four-course dinner for $150.

Element 47
New Year’s Eve dinner for $395.

L’Hosteria
First seating at 5:30 p.m., featuring the regular menu. Second seating at 9 and 9:30 p.m. featuring a $220 three-course menu, $150 in bar. Live music starts at 9:30 p.m.

Matsuhisa  
First seating: 6-7:30 p.m. prix fixe: $225 plus 20 percent gratuity and plus beverages. Second seating is already sold out.

Mezzaluna
Three separate seatings: 5:30 p.m. for $65; 7:30 p.m. for $80; 9:30 p.m. for $100.

Pinons
First seating 5:30/6:30 p.m. includes four courses with limited choices for $125; second seating 8:30/9:30 includes five-course set menu for $275.

Red Onion
Open at 11 a.m., bar open till 2 a.m. Kitchen closes approximately 9 p.m.

Rustique
Early seating 5-6:15 p.m., three-course prix fixe for $75. Second seating from 6:30 p.m. on, four course for $135. Special NYE Bar Menu available all evening in bar.

St. Regis Resort Aspen
The St. Regis hosts its annual New Year’s Eve Family Buffet from 5-11 p.m., $85/adults $35/kids.

Syzygy
Two seatings: Early seating from 5:45-7:30 p.m., includes four courses for $85; second seating from 8:30 p.m. for $295.

Takah Sushi
All-you-can-eat early seating for $110.  Late seating is $160. All night Sushi Bar for $100. $25 cover for live band after 10:30 p.m.

Wild Fig
Early seating 6/6:30 p.m., four courses for $95, bar seating$75; Second seating 8:15/8:30 p.m. with five course $175, Bar seating $100.

Parties & Events
The 12 days of Aspen comes to an end on New Year’s Eve with a free DJ and Bonfire in Wagner Park.

BB’s Kitchen
The lounge will have a $175 cover charge offering DJ music, open bar and heaters on the deck from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Belly Up Aspen  
Five-time Grammy Award-winning CeeLo Green featuring Goodie Mob. General Admission $375

Cantina
Open bar $75, $85 day of. Featuring DJ, dancing and more.

Escobar
New Years Eve Tickets $150 per person. Open bar until 12:30 p.m. (cash bar after 12:30 p.m.) Champagne Toast, NYE Party Favors, Special Guest DJ.

Finbarr’s Irish Pub
Open at 3:30pm. After 9pm $40 including one drink and DJ.

The Sky Hotel
Open bar and DJs at 10 p.m. for $300 GA ($350 day of). VIPs tickets include dinner, private table, one bottle of champagne, caviar service and an open bar for $500 with two DJs starting at 8 p.m.
