Some of the things I read in the local papers amaze me. Liz Shapiro’s recent editorial is one of them.
She rants “how incredibly difficult it already is to try to keep a business running,” and then about sandwich boards and the costs of doing business in Aspen. My favorite quotes are “Telling us we can’t prop our doors open will kill everyone.” And here is the kicker “We already pay very high electric and gas bills.” I am at a loss trying to understand her rational here.
If your heat is running (gas or electric fired) and you prop open your door in the middle of winter, um, your electric and gas bills will be even higher.
