at Snowmass Chapel
“The Foreigner,” an award-winning play by Larry Shue and set in rural Georgia, opened in late February at the Snowmass Chapel and continues its four-weekend run with performances on March 8, 14, 15, 22 and 23.
A two-act comedy, the cast of seven includes Crystal Palace veterans and well-loved local actors like Mike Monroney and Wendy Perkins. It is presented by the Snowmass Chapel Winter Concert Series.
The play follows Froggy LeSueur, a British demolition expert, as he arrives at a Georgia lodge on his way to a military post with his shy friend, Charlie. He passes off Charlie as an exotic foreigner who can’t speak English, and hilarity ensues as a plot to shut down the lodge emerges.
All shows are at 7 p.m. and seats are available for a suggested donation of $15. For more information visit ww.theatrehotspot.com
