On Monday, April 1, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the Aspen Square Hotel, 617 East Cooper Avenue in Aspen, the Pitkin County Republicans are sponsoring a presentation by Ambassador Paul Wolfowitz on “The ‘Pivot’ to Asia: Implications for U.S. National Security.”
This program is another public event sponsored by the Pitkin County Republicans and we welcome everyone’s participation on a first-come, first-served basis. Space is limited so if you would like to attend, please contact Events@PitkinPolitics.org .
There is no charge for the event. Although not required for admission, a contribution to the Disabled Veterans of America in connection with the 27th Annual National Disabled Veterans Winter Sports Clinic, taking place in Snowmass April 1-4, would be greatly appreciated.
Ambassador Wolfowitz has served in many prominent government posts, including U.S. Ambassador to Indonesia, Deputy Secretary of Defense, and president of the World Bank. He is a former dean of the School of Advanced International Studies at Johns Hopkins University and currently a visiting scholar at the American Enterprise Institute.
