Chefs Club by Food & Wine restaurant at the St. Regis in Aspen has announced a lineup of four rising culinary stars that will set its menu for the upcoming year.
The concept restaurant each year invites a new slate of Food & Wine magazine Best New Chef award winners to design the menu, and come to Aspen for a kitchen residency.
The new menu will debut at Chefs Club the weekend of the 2013 Food & Wine Classic in Aspen, June 14-16, featuring signature dishes by Jason Franey of Canlis in Seattle, Viet Pham of Forage in Salt Lake City, Bryant Ng of The Spice Table in Los Angeles and Missy Robbins of A Voce in New York City. Through May 2014, each chef will make appearances at the restaurant to lead culinary classes and other events.
According to a recent Harris poll, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA) is now the biggest concern for small businesses, displacing economic uncertainty in the top spot for the first time in two years. What are the highlights of the ACA? What changes will businesses see as a result of the act? How will the ACA affect local businesses’ ability to hire employees and how will it impact their bottom lines?
The Glenwood Insurance Agency (GIA) is sponsoring a “Straight Talk about the Affordable Care Act” seminar with the Glenwood Springs Chamber Resort Association from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 21, in The Loft at the Hotel Denver. Scott Bolitho, a partner and benefits consultant with GIA, will bring 23 years of experience and local industry leadership to the table to give straight answers to a complicated subject.
Space is limited, and reservations are required. Register for the event online at www.glenwoodchamber.com/healthcare or call Angie Anderson at 970 945-0784. Cost of the seminar is $10, including continental breakfast, program and materials.
