Bryan Moscatello has returned to the executive chef position at The Little Nell, after having served in the job from 1992 through 2000.
Moscatello most recently has been the chef partner at Storefront Company in Chicago, where he earned three stars from the Chicago Tribune. He was the executive chef/general manager at Bistro Toujours, Levy Restaurants in Deer Valley; executive chef/managing partner at Adega Partners in Denver; executive chef at Stir Food Group in Washington, D.C.; and culinary director with Tenzing Wine & Spirits in Chicago. He was recognized by Food & Wine magazine as one of America’s Ten Best New Chefs in 2003.
Moscatello looks forward to working with the hotel’s team of dedicated chefs and cooking dishes like Colorado lamb with charred local onion, sautéed kale and Yukon gold gnocchi with wild chanterelle mushrooms.
Moscatello will begin work at The Little Nell on Dec. 2. He replaces Robert McCormick, who accepted a position with Emma Farms Cattle Company.
Frias Properties of Aspen is proud to announce the addition of Sonny D’Anna to its broker team.
With more than $800 million in overall career sales, D’Anna also has experience in project design and real estate development.
As the former CEO of Aspen Land & Homes/Sotheby’s International Realty, D’Anna grew the firm from three sales associates and one employee to 122 sales associates, seven offices with managing brokers and 14 employees — generating more than $350 million in annual sales.
During this time, D’Anna personally listed and sold the $20 million Thunder Mountain Lodge in Breckenridge and oversaw the launch and sale of 46 condominiums at Obermeyer Place in Aspen. He was also both the listing and selling broker for more than 90 percent of the sales at Aspen Highlands Village and FiveTrees.
Sonny attended the University of Texas on a four-year football scholarship, and received a bachelor of business administration degree.
