KAVANAUGH-BRADLEY NEW GROUP SALES DIRECTOR

Kristi Kavanaugh-Bradley has been hired by the town of Snowmass Village's special events, marketing and group sales department as the new director of group sales. She most recently worked for the St. Regis Aspen, where she was named the sales leader of the year in 2007 for all Starwood hotels in North America.

Kavanaugh-Bradley has been in the valley for 14 years. Previously, she worked for the Aspen Club & Spa as its director of sales and marketing. Prior to that, she was at the Washington D.C.-based office of the Ritz Carlton's global sales. She has a marketing degree from Virginia Tech.

WALLY OBERMEYER NAMED NO. 38

President of Obermeyer Asset Management Company, Wally Obermeyer, was ranked one of the top 100 independent financial advisors in America in a survey published by Barron's magazine. Obermeyer was named No. 38. A private research firm, Winner's Circle, compiles the list annually based on advisor's assets under management, contribution to the firm's revenues and profits, and indications of service quality.

This is Obemeyer's second consecutive appearance on the list.

Obermeyer Asset Management is an independent fee-only registered investment advisor, managing approximately $700 million in assets.

PAYNE JOINS SIGNATURE PROPERTIES

Vacation rental company Aspen Signature Properties recently hired Johanna Saizan Payne to its sales team. As a valley resident, Saizan Payne worked in the Pitkin County Assessor's Office for more than 15 years, and has been active in the Roaring Fork real estate for more than 30 years.

As a New Orelans native, she attended Lousiana State University. She has real estate licenses in new Mexico and Colorado, and also hold a residential appraiser's liscense in Colorado.

Saizan Payne also volunteers to monitor the Great Blue Heron Rookeries in the Roaring Fork Valley, and is an avid bird watcher.
