Missing the point

Eric Orlander missed the point in his letter on Obama.

A racist by any name is still a racist, and there is no doubt that Obama’s pastor, by his very words, fits this description. Even if Obama has known and associated with this man for 20 years, he needs to drop him fast, or there will be guilt by association. Americans are not dumb.

It is sad, since Obama seems like a decent man. Obama needs to disassociate himself with this racist pastor, or else the whooshing sound you hear will be Obama’s presidential hopes going down the toilet.

I'm shocked, simply shocked. Obama volunteers to meet with America's enemies. Fine. So why won't he do the same with Mr Farrakhan and the Reverend ? They are closer to home, speak English and are his fellow Afro-Americans. What shocks me is that no one in the mainstream press reported on Obama's inconsistency. We are not in the infprmation age, we are suffering from Future Shock.

Americans are dumb...

and ignorant. By making comments about a racist socity makes someone a racist, what kind of logic is that? Like most Americans this cowboy's opinions have been shaped by right wing controlled media. Stop watching you tube and look at the whole picture.
