Editor:
I’m writing in support of Pam Zentmyer for Carbondale Town Council.
Pam grew up in Carbondale, moved away for college, has traveled to points all over the world, and six years ago chose to move back home to Carbondale. She has a deep love for our town and a great awareness, both pragmatic and personal, of what makes Carbondale a great place to live. She’s a local gal with a worldly perspective.
Though (and perhaps because) she’s seen many changes in Carbondale over the last thirty years, she is committed to our town’s future. She knows that any decisions made by today’s town council will have long-lasting effects on our community and its people.
Pam is a hard-working and dedicated business owner, a bookkeeper for several valley businesses, and a teacher of ESL (English as a Second Language) classes at CMC. The variety in her jobs testifies to the level of energy and breadth of talents and interests she will contribute.
She is eager to listen to and represent the people of Carbondale as a member of the town council. Her perspective as a long-time local, world traveler, and local business owner would be a real asset to this important governing body.
I hope you will join me in supporting Pam on April 1, and vote Zentmyer for Carbondale Town Council!
