Sports: Volleyball, Sailing, Hockey, and Tennis

Sporting achievements:
Volleyball: I was awarded All Conference First Team and Academic All State in 2007; my Front Range team finished in Division 1 in Rocky Mountain Region Volleyball in 2007; and my team finish 23rd at the AAU National Tournament in 2007.
Sailing: I finished 2nd place in the Butterfly Nationals women's division in 2007; finished 6th place in the Butterfly Nationals junior division in 2007; and finished 1st place in the Crystal Lake Yacht Club fleet in 2007.

Athletic aspirations? I would like to play volleyball in college and continue competing in sailing, hockey, and tennis.

If you could go to dinner with one athlete — living or dead — who would it be and why?
I would go to dinner with Kirsten Olsen because she's an AVP volleyball player and writes for a volleyball magazine. She's also a great coach and instructor. 

Favorite sports movies? “Remember the Titans,” “Invincible,” and “Miracle.”

Prefer spandex or sweat pants? I like wearing spandex under my sweats (like Chelsey Hanle).

Favorite workout/warm up music? Techno and rock.

Superstitions? For sailing, I always touch the buoy on the starting line for good luck before the starting sequence begins.

Who or what inspires you: My friends and my family inspire me, especially my sister Kyla, who plays volleyball for Carleton College.

Dream sports car? A red Ferrari 430 Scuderia
