Favorite pre-game/pre-competition meal? Some form of whole grain cereal — hot or cold.
If you could go to dinner with one athlete — living or dead — who would it be and why? Jesse Owens. Every now and then, sports are able to challenge society’s actions and beliefs through competition. He seems like he would have such a story to tell — bad and good. I can't even begin to imagine what it must have felt like for him to win multiple gold medals at the 1936 Olympics, but I would love to ask.
Favorite workout music? Progressive house and trance.
Ankle or tube socks? All depends on the shoe.
Who or what inspires you? People who pour their passion out and aren't afraid to affect peoples' lives in a positive way.
Superstitions? Don't use anything for the first time in a race.
Vegetarian or carnivore? Whatever I can catch.
