Daniela Niederer, better known by her stage name Nora En Pure may well be the hardest working woman in Electronic Dance Music today. The South African-Swiss DJ/producer has taken the house music scene by storm over the past half-decade and is showing no signs of slowing.
Nora first received recognition with her hit single "Come With Me" released in 2013 and has carried a fiery momentum behind her since that release with numerous chart-topping singles such as "Morning Dew," "Tears In Your Eyes" and "Lake Arrowhead."
The accolades she has racked up within the past few years mirror that of an acclaimed musician twice her age. Over the years Nora has stood out as one of the only women to be booked for massive festival sets at world-renowned events such as Coachella, Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas, Tomorrowland and more.
Quite frankly, Nora has been one of the only women to be included within the entirety of these line-ups. As with most facets of the music industry, the house music scene is almost completely male-dominated. With an unwavering dedication to her craft, Nora has carried the torch as a shining example of exactly how powerful a force women can be in an industry that is defined by a male take on dance music.
Nora En Pure continues to stand out from the rest of the house music scene with the release of her very own radio show 'Purified' on Sirius XM Chill. Now on its 154 episode, Nora is continuously pushing the boundaries of house music with her elevated, and elegant production styles.
Nora's music lifts listeners out of the heavier, darker sounds of deep house and integrates her house beats with more refined elements such as piano, strings, and woodwinds in which she was classically trained before falling in love with dance music. These elevated production techniques allow listeners to take in her ability to turn every track she touches into gold. As she continues to leave audiences at her shows screaming for more, Nora leaves a personal touch on every stage she graces.
Despite her hectic tour schedule continuing to pile on the shows, Nora has also consistently been achieving career milestones without missing a beat. In 2016 she delivered a show-stopping mix for the wildly acclaimed BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix hosted by house music legend, Pete Tong. As of 2019, Nora has received two awards from the International Dance Music Association for Best Female Artist (House) as well as best Podcast/radio show for Purified. As this summer’s festival season comes to a close she has announced a new residency at Wynn Las Vegas, a return to Ultra Music Festival in Miami, as well as a massive sub-headlining slot at Coachella Music Festival.
Nora En Pure continues to set an example of what it means to work hard in the music industry, and it is certainly paying off for her. She is known around the world as the queen of Deep House, and for good reason. With two Purified curated events already in her back pocket, 2019 has been Nora En Pure's largest year-to-date.
