Join this Colorado Mountain College sustainability mini-conference for the Roaring Fork Valley as we identify key elements of community prosperity that we all share, specifically in areas of jobs, energy and nature. A panel of experts and audience participation will help us explore regional community well-being, and CMC’s role in fostering it. Participants in the panel include Kevin Hillmer-Pegram, CMC associate professor of Sustainability Studies; Katie Mackley from the Rifle Regional Economic Development Corp.; John Katzenberger from Aspen Global Change Institute; and Alice Laird of Clean Energy Economy for the Region. Contact Kevin Hillmer-Pegram, associate professor of sustainability studies, Spring Valley, kchillmer-pegram@coloradomtn.edu, 970-947-8167, or Adrian Fielder, assistant dean of instruction, Spring Valley, afielder@coloradomtn.edu, 970-947-8246l The event is free, but RSVP is required for lunch at https://bit.ly/2ZkxnSc
