Join the Carbondale Clay Center on January 11th from 6-8pm for the opening reception of, In the Year 2525, featuring collaborative works from artists Annette and Andrew Roberts-Gray.  This collaborative exhibition uses the 1968 pop song "In the year 2525" by Zager and Evans, as theme for presented works.  The narrative elements of the song are used as suggestions for visual tone, imagery, and context for paintings, sculpture, and mixed media work.  Viewers are encouraged to embrace dystopia!

Annette and Andrew Roberts-Gray have been practicing artists for over 30 years and have been full time residents of the Roaring Fork Valley since the early 90’s. Works will be on display from January 4th through January 25th, 2019.  Refreshments, food, and live music will help celebrate the official reception of the exhibition on January 11th from 6-8pm.
