Local contractors, builders, and architects can take advantage of hands-on, green-building seminars on an active job site in Carbondale. The trainings are part of a series titled, “Smart Design: Affordable Green Building” that is co-presented by Green Line Architects, Community Office for Resource Efficiency (CORE), Aspen Center for Environmental Studies (ACES), and Clean Energy Economy for the Region (CLEER). Participants will have the opportunity to experience affordable green-building in action.
The seminars will be held on location at the ACES Urban Farmhouse at 418 Garfield Ave in Carbondale, on April 16, May 14, and June 11 at 5:00pm. Smart Design: Affordable Green Building is FREE and open to the public, with a $25 fee for architects interested in receiving American Institute of Architects (AIA) continuing education credits.
