Yoga therapy is a holistic practice based in the Yoga tradition, Ayurveda, and informed by modern science. Its primary goal is to empower the individual to take charge of their physical health and emotional wellbeing. Although all yoga is potentially healing, yoga therapy is the specific application of yogic tools - postures, exercises, breathing practices, meditation techniques, and more- to address an individual's physical, mental, and emotional needs.
In this 6-week series, you will learn how to implement the tools and strategies of yoga therapy into your own life to increase self-awareness, reduce or eliminate suffering, and shift attitude about life and circumstance.
