Holding space

“Renoir Dancers,” by Dorit Levinstein is prominently displayed in the new Eden Gallery housed in the 7,200-square-foot space known locally as the “Boogie’s Building.” The piece is a hand-painted bronze sculpture inspired by French painter Pierre-Auguste Renoir’s famous work, “Dance in the Country.” With a “very long-term” lease on the downtown Aspen space, the multinational contemporary art gallery quietly opened its doors last month.
