United in dining

At the entrance to Aspen’s “Restaurant Row” on Wednesday, employees from Meat & Cheese, Bear Den, Steakhouse No. 316 and Aspen Tap demonstrated their support for keeping restaurants open amid rising COVID-19 numbers. “Basically the information we’re hearing from public health is the majority of cases are coming from private gatherings. We feel like we’re serving people safely,” said Wendy Mitchell, owner of Meat & Cheese and Hooch cocktail bar. “Everyone wants to do this the right way and we feel like we can do it safely.”
