A man was arrested Saturday afternoon after he was alleged to be angry and disruptive in Rubey Park bus station in downtown Aspen.
Cesar Ortiz, who is in his early 20s and a Carbondale resident, was cited for municipal trespassing around 4:30 p.m., according to Danielle Madril of Aspen Police, who was the arresting officer.
“He got angry and had to be prompted to leave,” said Sgt. Chip Seamans, on Sunday. “He was extremely intoxicated.”
Ortiz’s “intention was to ride the bus home, said Madril. But he was acting “disruptive” in the station and bothering others. She later said that an employee at Rubey Park who has encountered Ortiz in the pas said “he is usually cooperative.”
Ortiz was summonsed and released to a sober party on Saturday, and will have a court date in June, Madril said.
