EDM star Alesso, hip-hop duo Rae Sremmurd, DJ Illenium and R&B singer Bazzi will headline the X Games concerts at the base of Buttermilk in January, ESPN announced Thursday.

The Winter X Games will return to Buttermilk Ski Area for its 19th year from Jan. 23-26.

Rae Sremmurd will kick off the weekend performances Friday evening. Mississippi-born brothers Slim Jxmmi and Swae Lee make up “Rae Sremmurd,” which is “ear drummers” spelled backwards. Rae Sremmurd rose to fame with its 2014 hit, “No Flex Zone.” The group also is known for its single, “Black Beatles,” featuring rapper Gucci Mane. Released in 2016, “Black Beatles” became both Rae Sremmurd and Gucci Mane’s first No. 1 single on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100.

Grammy-nominated producer and EDM titan Alesso will headline Saturday’s shows. The Swedish DJ has collaborated with chart-topping acts like Calvin Harris, Usher, David Guetta, Sebastian Ingrosso, OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder, while also producing a slew of genre-bending solo work.

Alesso’s 2014 hit, “Heroes (We Could Be)” featuring Tove Lo reached No. 1 on Billboard’s U.S. Dance Club and No. 11 on the Top 40. He has performed at many of the largest electronic music festivals around the world, including Coachella, Tomorrowland and Electric Daisy Carnival.

Melodic bass producer Illenium will open for Alesso on Saturday. The Denver-based DJ’s latest album, “Ascend,” is currently No. 1 on the Billboard dance chart. In addition to his solo work, Illenium has collaborated on a number of notable remixes, such The Chainsmokers' "Don't Let Me Down" and Flume "Say It.”

Rapper Bazzi will close out the shows on Sunday afternoon. His hit, “Mine,” now certified three-times platinum, catapulted the record producer to prominence.

As is common during the X Games, all four headliners will also play shows at Belly Up Aspen: Illenium on Wednesday, Alesso on Friday, Rae Sremmurd on Saturday and Bazzi on Sunday (after his Buttermilk set).

Tickets to the X Games performances are now available, starting at $25. A general admission ticket to all three nights of music may be purchased for $120 until Dec. 5. Visit xgames.com for tickets and more information.

Tickets to the shows at the Belly Up will go on sale at 2 p.m. today. Visit bellyupaspen.com for more.
