Madeleine Albright

Former U.S. Secretary of State Madeleine Albright will be one of the featured speakers at the Aspen Institute's summer series.

Justice Stephen Breyer, Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti and Secretary Madeleine Albright are just some of the speakers who will be presenting at the Aspen Institute’s summer series.

The Aspen Institute hosts three series during the summer: the McCloskey Speaker Series, the Hurst Lecture Series and the Murdock Mind, Body, Spirit Series. The speaker lineup was announced Wednesday morning in a press release. The summer lineup begins on Saturday, July 7 with “A Conversation with Justice Stephen Breyer” as part of the McCloskey Speaker Series.

The series continues throughout the summer, featuring talks from bestselling authors, professors and CEOs about a variety of topics, before coming to an end in late September. Tickets for each event are $25 and are available two weeks beforehand at aspenshowtix.com, by calling 970-920-5770 or at the Wheeler Opera House box office. Unsold and unclaimed tickets will be sold at the door, according to the press release.
