The Aspen Valley Land Trust will be holding public forums to craft a conservation plan for the future.
AVLT serves the Roaring Fork and Colorado River valleys and has been working in conservation for 52 years. According to an email blast sent out, the goal of the forums is to gather the community’s thoughts on how to continue conservation efforts for the next five to 10 years.
The sessions will be two hours long and a light dinner will be provided. The sessions will be held on May 6 at the River Center in New Castle, May 7 at the Pitkin County Library Community Room in Aspen and May 9 at the Third Street Center Calaway Room in Carbondale. Each session begins at 6 p.m.
For more information or to register, head to avlt.org. There is also a community survey that AVLT is requesting those who cannot attend a meeting fill out.
