Beth Hoff Blackmer, president of Aspen Rent-All, based in Basalt, has been elected by her industry peers to fulfill the role of president-elect for the American Rental Association (ARA), an international trade association serving the equipment and event rental industry, it was announced recently.
Hoff Blackmer assumed the role at the conclusion of The ARA Show™, ARA’s annual trade show and convention, in Anaheim, Calif.
She will take on a key leadership role as an officer of the board and a member of the executive committee.
“Hoff Blackmer brings years of experience with a focus in construction and general tool rental to her position on the board, which consists of four officers and 15 directors, including members who are also rental business owners and/or manufacturers and suppliers to the equipment and event rental industry,” according to the statement.
Volunteer service and involvement in ARA are not new to Hoff Blackmer. Of her upcoming term, she was quoted as saying: “I will be a voice for ARA and advocate for our growth, professionalism and bright future. I want to continue to get the message out about who we are and that we’re here to help each other. I look forward to being a significant part of leadership in the association that has made a commitment to support the success of our members and advance the equipment and event rental industry.”
ARA members, which include more than 10,500 rental businesses and more than 1,000 manufacturers and suppliers, are located in every U.S. state, Canadian province and more than 30 countries worldwide. ARA was founded in 1955.
