The Sunlight Ski Area will begin full operation starting Dec. 14, the resort announced Wednesday.
Lifts will operate from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday through Sunday, with $45 lift tickets for adults and children. Sunlight will close again next week before reopening for seven days a week. At that time, lift tickets will be full price at $65 for adults and $45 for children.
Sunlight has all of its beginner and intermediate terrain open thanks to over 4 feet of snow that has fallen so far this season, said Troy Hawks, marketing and sales director, in a press release.
“We anticipate getting more advanced black-diamond terrain open this weekend,” he said. “Our East Ridge extreme terrain area will require another storm or two to get open, but right now it’s in some of the best shape we’ve seen it, this early in the season, than we have in years.”
