Now it seems to me there could have been extra time and thought put into the original designs of two things. Namely the Truscott light pedestrian underpass that may have actually been built as an auto underpass and eliminate the need for the light? Second, the roundabout itself could have had a designated lane straight out instead of a drive through the turns at all, and why further increase the congestion?

Currently, especially when busy, you have to contend with a merger at Main Street and then again at the roundabout. It could have been so unnecessary. Now remember folks. Keep your cool. Do not instigate or retaliate to aggressive driving because it leads to road rage. Now I believe these conditions could be improved to at least make the commute out, when everyone is tired, a smoother quicker experience and not one of an Aspen headache.
