I have just read physicist Amory Lovins’ column regarding the airport (“Aspen airport downgrade, a fabulous fable,” July 19, Aspen Daily News). My question to him would be: Wouldn’t an electric jet that would satisfy the noise restrictions necessary for our airport require a larger wingspan than what is currently allowable?
