Editor:

CONORML would like to thank everyone who attended and supported the Hunter S. Thompson Scholarship fundraiser. The event, held at the fabulous Mountain Chalet-Aspen on April 12, was a huge success in that we raised enough funds to send a lawyer, activist or patient to the NORML legal seminar that will be held at The Gant, the first weekend in June, so the winner of the scholarship can further their efforts in the field of medical marijuana.

The fundraising party would not have been such a success without the following businesses and community members: Mountain Chalet, Roaring Media, the Aspen Daily News, Jes Grew and Cameron Williams, Conundrum Catering, the Goldstein family, the Psihoyos family, Pacifica, New York Pizza, Grateful Deli, Niki Stephen’s Smooth Salon, Sungirl Designs, Further Frames, Kat Tales Publishing, Capital Peak Publishing — Ski the 14ers, Mania Salon, Pride Tuning by Larry Madden, Casual Culture, NORML, Levitation Salon, Rocky Mountain Pet Shop, Bliss LLC, LuLu Wilson, Wild Fig, Brexi Brasserie, Brady Curry Artwork, Aspen Unlimited, snowgloberings.com, Aspen Wine and Spirits, Patient’s Choice of Colorado, CANNAMED, Therapeutic Herbal Center, the Little Bird, the Furry Mountain Monkeys of Aspen Colorado, the Woody Creek Tavern, and numerous anonymous donors.

Thanks you, thank you, thank you.
